Fe(s) +CuSO4(aq.)-- > Cu (s)+ FeSO4(aq.) As I said single displacement reaction ,it is not a precipitation reaction because only double displacement reactions where two aqueous solutions are reactants are precipitation reactions. It is any solid that forms due to a reaction from its liquid state.
