Qila Rai Pithora was a city built by Rajput King Prithviraj Chauhan.
He built the town after conquering the region of Delhi from Tomar Rajputs. It was built in the 12th century.
The city extended over 6 - 7 kilometers and it was surrounded by high walls of the fort.
