Sanitation and disease are related to each other as the absence of cleanliness can result in diseases.

  • A large number of diseases are resulted in because of poor sanitation and infected drinking water.
  • Poor sanitation directs to the upswing of harmful microbes, flies and mosquitoes which are the basis of dissipating numerous diseases such as cholera, typhoid, polio, meningitis, hepatitis, and dysentery.
  • Thus, it’s better to have decent sanitation and adequate hygiene.
  • In India, a huge abundance of humans even now do not have sewerage means and therefore pass in open regions, railway routes, etc.
  • The untreated public excreta then contaminate soil and water chiefs about the covered water.
  • When this filthy water is utilized for drinking, it can develop conditions such as typhoid, hepatitis, cholera, diarrhoea, etc. which may likewise point to death.
  • Hence, the scarcity of hygiene following the drinking of unclean water can develop health difficulties.
  • If sanitation is there, no disease will happen, but if hygiene is not there various sorts of infection will occur and formulate. So sanitation should be pursued to prevent disease.
