✿ Explain the respiration in plants during daytime and nighttime.

Ans• Respiration in plants happens throughout the day and night. During the day the plants release oxygen and takes in carbondioxide through photosynthesis. During the day, photosynthesis is dominant, so there is a net release of oxygen. At night, photosynthesis stops but respiration continues, so there is a net consumption of oxygen. ... This is a simple experiment to show that plants produce oxygen during the day and consume it at night.
