advertisement of. product. - advertisement played an important role in selling of goods to Indians . It develop the minds and ideas of people to buy the product during the industrial growth , it helped in expanding markets for products .

putting labels on cloth bundles - labels was put on bundles to make the product familiar to Indians about manufacturing place and company . like made in !Manchester . this assured the quality of product .

images of Indian god and goddesses - british manufactures used images of God and goddesses . it symbolised the divine approval for commodity . images of Krishna and Vishnu was intended to make manufacture from foreign land appear familiar .

printing calenders and images of emperor. - calenders were used even by people who could not read . they hung them in shops and in offices . they will see that advertisement on them daily . the images of emperor seemed to say- if you respect the royal figure then respect the product quality could not be questioned .

nationalist message by Indians - Indians manufactures advertised nationalist message was clear and loud . if you care for nation . then buy the product .
