THE BASIC EXCHANGE OF GASES LIKE OXYGEN AND CARBON DIOXIDE TAKES PLACE THROUGH ALVEOLI. THE OXYGEN IN THE AIR DIFFUSES WITH WALLS OF ALVEOLI AND OTHER CAPILLARIES AND MIX IN THE BLOOD.
