HEY MATE HERE IS UR ANSWER
If you are from urban area and typically from a metro city you just imagine life when there is more than 12 hours loadshading in your city. Your obvious answer to this would be, it is just impossible to live in those conditions.
Nearly all the rural India today has more than 12 hours of loadshadding in this harsh condition they manage to survive but they could never able to compete with the rest of the world on developmental parameters.
We often criticize private industrialists accusing them of promoting inequality by not starting industries in rural areas. But how can they run their firms without electricity in these areas. Hence very few employment generation and development of secondary sector in rural area which is must for development.
Even agriculture itself today is largely dependent on electricity as well and tube well irrigation is the single largest source of irrigation in rural India which largely dependent on electrical motors.
With the aim of NEW INDIA present government is executing programmes like Bharatnet and Digital India but for their success not just cent percent electrification is enough but electricity 24*7 is must. And it practical not possible to provide 24 hour electricity in rural areas as we already running a huge supply gap.
