Food chain and the food web are the network system according to the food habits in a particular environment.This chain or web starts from the basic green plants or the "Producers" of the ecosystem and ends with the different "predator" animals.

These food network systems are very important in our environment, because food is the only source of energy in any living organism present on the earth.

Without this food network system in the environment, different species will not get sufficient amount of food properly, which can even destroy the whole balance of the environment.
