- The horticultural produce in India has a great demand from all over the world.
- It thus fosters import and helps farmers earn more than what they earn from conventional farming of rice, wheat, maize, barley, and sugarcane.
- The Indian agriculture sector is believed to have a great future as the horticulture farming in the country is being preferred by the farmers over conventional farming.
