The digestion of food begins in the mouth. The teeth cuts the food into small pieces , chew and grind . The salivary glands in our mouth produces saliva which digests the starch into sugar. Our tongue helps in mixing with food and the food is converted to bolus. The digestion of food is incomplete in mouth......pls mark as brainliest......

Humans take food from the mouth . First we chew the food to make it softer and slippery that it go through whole alimentary canal . At mouth saliva secreted by the salivary glands , which breakdown the complex starch into simple sugar. So our mouth plays an interesting role for our digestion.
