Political institutions have the role of taking decisons in the form of the legislature, bringing them into action in the form of the executive, determining the good and bad in the form of judiciary. Decisons often take long time to be formulated in a demlcracy this is one of its demerits. But when many people put their heads together a good decison os bound to be made.

The different political institutions in decision making process in democracy are:
*President is the head of the state and is the highest formal authority in the country.
*Prime minister is the head of the government and actually exercises all the governmental powers.he takes most of the decision in the cabinet meetings.
*Parliament consists two houses Rajya sabha and Lok sabha. The prime minister must have the support of a majority of lok sabha members.
These institutions were also taken pass when the office memorandum was passed.
