Answer:

The role of public and private health centres during pandemic and epidemics

Public and private health centres play a vital role during pandemics and epidemics. What has emerged clearly is that, in times of emergencies, the delivery of healthcare, either by the private sector or State-run systems, is a national priority and all such resources are "public goods'' to be shared equitably for the common wealth .It is not surprising that in times of crises, public hospitals get overwhelmed trying to cater to the larger cross-section of society. Let's talk about both health centres separately.

Public health centres-

Provides easy health care to those in need

Provides mass medical support

Private health centres-

Provide special medical support for cases which require more treatment.

Provides best quality treatment

No matter what the difference, in times of crisis both these health centres play a very essential role in protecting our community. They must take certain measures to prevent the outflow of the disease. Here are a few of them-

Vaccination- If the vaccine for the particular disease of the pandemic is discovered, all health centres must ensure that patients get vaccinated at a very low or free cost.

Transportation measures- In severe cases it may be difficult for patients to reach the hospital for treatment, in such cases easy ambulance departure may help patients reach the hospital sooner

Isolation rooms- isolating the patient will decrease the spread of the pandemic or epidemic disease.

And so on…

All health centres, both public and private give subjects of the pandemic or epidemic reassurance. The patients of the hospital feel more calm at the fact that they aren't the only one affected by the disease, boosting their trust that they will recover.

Many people's biggest concerns during pandemics or epidemics are whether or not they have been affected. Having health centres in a small distance gap eases people to get tested hence giving them reassurance.
