synapse is the difference between two consecutive neurons.It contains a liquid called neurotransmitter which sends electrical signals .

synapse is the gap between two neurons....Electrical impulse travel from one neuron to another through synapse....

At the end of axon neurotransmitters are released which passes to next neuron through synapse...
