Explain the rolling of boat on the principal of newton's 3 rd law.

the Newton's third law of motion says that every action has an equal and opposite reaction but in opposite direction.
  when we row the boat we apply force on the water and push it backward. the water also acts on the boat in oppsite direction and pushes it foward. that is why when we row the boat we move foward.
