Explanation:

* The second battle of Panipat was fought between the Hindu king , Samrat Hem Chandra Vikramaditya who was popularly known as Hemu , who ruled in the North India from Delhi , and the army of Akbar , on November 5, 1556.

* It was won by the army of Akbar and was a decisive victory of his generals Khan Zaman and Bairam Khan. King Hemu was captured by Akbar's army while he was unconscious and almost dead.

* Due to this battle the Afghan power was crushed and Akbar's throne became safe from enemies. The main cause of the second battle battle of Panipat was the reclamation of the lost territories , Agra and Delhi.
