Bile juice doesnt contain any enzyme. But it is essential for digestion because ,v know that functions of pancreatic enzymes for digestion ,i.e ,the pancreatic enzymes ,trypsin ,amylase ,and lypase digest protein ,convert carbohydrates into maltose and breakdown emulsified fats respectively. Thus it is obvious that action of pancreatic enzymes is essential.while ,these enzymes act only if food coming frm stomach which is acidic is made ALKALINE.Bile juice accomplish this by making food alkaline so that pancreatic enzymes can act upon the food.
Not only bile juice also act on fats which is present in large globules in intestine which make enzymes difficult to act.Bile salt break them into smaller globules!!
HENCE BILE JUICE IS ESSENTIAL FOR DIGESTION OF FOOD.
