Health Hazards Associated Related To Exploding Human Population.

The World Population Day is celebrated every year on 11th July with the aim of creating awareness among the people while warning the common people of the dangers of increasing population. Today the population of the world is more than 7 billion 63 million. The population of India alone is around 1 billion and 35 million. India is the second most populous country in the world. India's population at the time of independence was 33 million, which has increased four times today. Population has increased rapidly due to poor methods of family planning, illiteracy, lack of awareness of health, superstition and developmental imbalance. It is likely that by 2050, the country's population will become 1.6 billion. At present, India's population is 17.5 percent of the world's population. In terms of land, we have 2.5 percent of the land. 4 percent is water resources, whereas the burden of diseases in the world is 20 percent of India alone. According to the fast growing population at present, the population of the world is growing by eight million people every year and its pressure is clearly on natural resources. Not only this, migration is also emerging as a problem in front of the global community. Because of the increasing population, people are forced to take shelter in other countries for basic amenities.

India's population growth rate of 17.64 percent in the last decade Half of the world's population or say more than that in Asian countries. Due to lack of education and awareness in China, India and other Asian countries, serious threats of population explosion have started to appear clearly. The situation is that if India does not stop its population growth rate, then by 2030 it will become the world's largest population. In the whole world, China is number one in the world due to its 1.42 billion population. On the other hand India is also number two in the world with its 1.35 billion population. Experts have expressed concern that if India's population continues to grow at this rate, then by 2030 it will get first place in the world. Various studies have shown that by 2025, India will overtake China and become the world's most populous country. Despite the fact that here the population policies, family planning and welfare programs have been started by the government and the rate of reproduction has decreased consistently, but the actual stabilization of the population will only be done till 2050. Due to high birth rate and better sanitation and healthcare, the mortality rate is the main reasons for high population growth rates.

Our population is still increasing by fifty thousand every day. To provide food to such a large population, it is necessary that our foodgrain production increases from 54 lakh tonnes per annum whereas on an average it increases only by 40 lakh tonnes per annum. Two basic reasons for population growth are illiteracy and poverty. Due to the ever increasing population, largely unemployment is emerging, many other economic and social problems are also emerging. Many problems in front of India stand as a challenge. Population explosion is most of them. Nearly one billion Indians have land, mineral resources, the same as those which were 50 years ago, resulting in less land, less income and problems are increasing. India has only 2.4 percent of all the land in the world. 16.7 percent of the world's population lives in India. As population increases, more resources will be increased on natural resources. Due to the population pressure, the land will be available to the person for agriculture, which will adversely affect the availability of food grains, drinking water, besides lakhs of people will be deprived of the benefits of health and education and opportunities to be a productive member of society. More than half a billion Indians are under 25 years of age.

Population growth has come to us as a new challenge, and today the government is facing difficulty in overcoming it. The country has to suffer the consequences of population growth. Doubts of increasing population have started heading up. The number of hunger is constantly increasing. Development work is shrinking. Talking about basic amenities like roti, cloth and house has become redundant. Destruction has taken place of development. The problem of unemployment has arisen due to more population. Agricultural land and forests are being destroyed for people's housing. The only way to avoid this is to prevent the growing population of Yen Ken. Otherwise, the place of development will not take long to take the destruction.
