they renamed themselves as the general assembly and made a Constitution for France which the king was forced to sign due to the revolution by the common people of france . this Constitution reduced the power of king to impose taxes and each and every decision of the king was to be checked by the members of the national assembly. if the assembly tells no the decision would be rejected.
