sudden vibrations on the earth and shaking of Earth's surface is called an earthquake these causes seismic waves leading to movement of the Earth surface like tremorse shaking or it goes up down. the socks and waves formed in interior of the earth spreads on the surface in all directions. the central point of earthquake is the point above the epicenter on the earth surface. strong convulse aur waves at first occurs near to that area.
