Explain the structure and function of three types of meristmatic tissue

There are three types meristematic tissue 
1. Apical meristem - It helps in increase in height of plants
2. Intercalary meristem -It also helps in the growth of plant and is present in the                                         intercalary position.
3.Lateral meristem - It is present in the lateral side of stem and root and helps                                     in increase in the diameter and thickness of the stem
