The structure of N2 : Nitrogen is present in the 5th group of the periodic table . Nitrogen atomic number is 7 .It means 5 electrons are present in its valence cell. Nitrogen needed only 3 electrons to complete their shell. When nitrogen is shared their electrons they form three covalent bonds (triple bond).
