Corrosion is a natural process, which converts a refined metal to a more chemically-stable form, such as its oxide, hydroxide, or sulfide. It is the gradual destruction of materials (usually metals) by chemical and/or electrochemical reaction with their environment.

Corrosion and erosion by looking similar but these two are far different in meaning.

CORROSSION:

  1. IT DESTROYS METAL BY OXIDISING
  2. IT GENERALLY SAYS RUST
  3. metals in generally react with nature and it changes it's colour and weight and quality .
  4. the above process is called as corrossion
