Corrosion is Rusting only in 90~95% of times.

Corrosion involves the slow oxidation of iron in presence of air and moisture.
The reaction involved is:
4Fe + 30₂ -------->    2Fe₂O₃ -------->   Fe₂O₃.xH₂O

Examples of corrosion are:
Nail kept in ordinary tap water rusts,
Iron sheets rust due to absorption of moisture

Corrosion means electro-chemical oxidation of metals in reaction with an oxidant such as oxygen.
The slow conversion of some metals into undesirable compounds (sulphides,carbonates,oxides,etc) by interaction with atmospheric gases and moisture.
EG.
silver corrosion
1) 2Ag(s) + H₂S(g) --------->  Ag₂S(s) + H₂(g)
copper corrosion
2) 2Cu(s) + CO₂(s) + O₂(g) + H₂O ----------> CuCo₃.Cu(OH)₂ {Basic copper carbonate}
 Rusting
3) 2Fe + 3/20₂ + xH₂O -------->   Fe₂O₃.xH₂O(s)
The iron corrosion
 2Fe + 3/20₂ + xH₂O -------->   Fe₂O₃.xH₂O(s)

Qba: I'm closing this conversation guys. Both of your answer are correct, Ssss118 is right that corrosion can also occur with non-metalic substances, which means that even though in the MOST situations it will be rusting, it doesn't always have to be it. That means that Rusting is always Corrosion but Corrosion is Rusting only in 90~95% of times. We'll make small adjustments in both answers - Shravani will add that it's Rusting in the most of the situations and Sss118 will add a real life example ;)
