irrigation means providing water to plants to prevent shortage of water.
there are two methods of irrigation:
1.modern methods
2.traditional methods
modern methods include-
1 sprinkler system in which the water is led through a force in main pipe and it showers out from the nozzles present in pipes.
2.drip irrigation system in which the water is given to the roots of plants drop by drop to prevent wastage of water
3 lift irrigation system
traditional methods include-
1 dekhli
2 rahat
3 pulley system etc
