Reactant are the substances which participate in the reaction and products are the substances which are formed during the reaction.
For eg
H2 + O2 -------> H2O

The elements or compounds taking part in a chemical reaction are called reactants

The compound formed from the reactants are called products.

Reactants are written to the left side while products are written to the right side. An arrow is drawn between them heading towards the products. This arrow indicates the direction of reaction.

2Mg + O2 ==> 2MgO

Here magnesium and oxygen are reactants whereas magnesium oxide is the product..

Hope this helps.

If it does do mark as brainliest :))
