Explanation:

sponges constitute the phylum porifera and have been defined as sessile metazoans that have water intake and outtake outlet openings connected by chambers lined with choanocytes cells with whip like flagella

body of all sponges is the perforated by large number of apertures through which water enter inside body and flows through a system of criss crossing canals connectively forming the canal system

choanocytes

choanocytes are cells that line the interior of asconoid syconoid and leuconoid body type sponges that contain a central flagellum , or cillium surrounded by a collar or micro villi which are connected by a thin membrane they make up choanoderm a type of cell layer found in sponges

type of skeletal sponges

demospongiae

ninety percent of the worlds sponges are found within the class demosponge which alone contains4,750 species these sponges are assymetrical and size can vary from 3millimetres to over 2meters in lenght . demospongiae can be found in all part of the ocean

Hexactinellida

hexactinellida sponges also known as glass sponges can be found all over the world but are. particularly populous in antartic waters they may form symbiotic relationship with shrimp whi lived inside the sponge central cavity

calcarea

calcarea are the only sponges whose skeleton are made of calcium carbonate the class contains more than 400 species that can be found all over the world but are mostly found in temperature water such as in Indian Ocean at shallow depths less than 1,000 meters.
