Answer:

S=ut+1/2 at2

V2-u2= 2as

V=u+at

Explanation:

In the motion equations where

S = distance or displacement

V = final speed

U = initial speed

t = time interval

The 3 types of equations of motion are

1. v=u+at

2.s=ut+1/2(at²)

3.v²-u²=2as

Here,v=final velocity

u=initial velocity t=time taken from the start to the end of the motion

a=acceleration

s=Displacement

Explanation:

The 1st equation states that final velocity is directly proportional to the initial velocity and the acceleration of the motion in a given time.If the acceleration is zero then initial velocity is equal to the final velocity.

The 2nd equation of motion states that the Displacement by an object is directly proportional to the intial velocity and acceleration of the object but the time is the function just like a polynomial equation of ax²+bx+c=0 this can be compared with 1/2(at²) +ut-s=0.

The 3rd equation states that the Displacement is proportional to the square of final velocity as well as of the initial velocity.

NOTE:Every given equation is suitable for specific conditions like we can use 1st equation when u,a,t is given and we need to final final velocity.

we can use 2nd when time,a,u is given and we need to find Displacement

we can use 3rd when a,s,u is given and we need need find v.
