Three Quantum numbers are :

(i) Principal quantum number - n:

The principal quantum number indirectly represents the energy level involved. It has integer values i.e  1,2,3,4…  because the energy levels in an atom for an electron are quantized.

(ii) Azimuthal quantum number - l :

The azimuthal quantum number, also known as the angular quantum number, represents the shape of the orbital (region of probability density) that an electron occupies and the angular momentum of said orbital.

(iii) Magnetic quantum number - mℓ:

The magnetic quantum number tells you the orientation of the orbital, i.e. it distinguishes a specific orbital from the other orbitals present in the same subshell.
