under the leadership of allury sitaram raju tribals of gudem hill of andhra pradesh supported mahatma gandhi. raju was grreat follower of gandhi ji but he did not beleive in his non violence ideas. he motivated tribals to give up drinking and to wear khadi, because this tribal people were restricted to enter in forest without permission of britishers. under the leadership of raju tribal peoples looted police stations and killed various police officers. but finally raju was killed by britishers in 1924.
