Hii

here your answer____

The earth has 2 types of movements/motion are rotation and revolution..

The movement of the earth on its axis is called rotation whike the movement of earth around the sun is called revolution..

The arth rotates on its axis from west ti east.
the axis is not vertical .it is inclined at an angle of 66 half° with the plane of earth orbit.This is known as the inclination of the earth axis.
The inclination is always in the same direction.

Every morning we notice that the sun rises in the east,travels across the skyduring the day and finally sets in the west in the evening.this is due to the rotation.

The circumference of the earth at the equator is about 4000km.the earth takes about 24 hours to cover this distance or to complete one rotation.thus rotation is also called daily motion of earth..

effects of earth rotation

☆it causes days and night

☆it gives us a day of 24 hours

☆it causes tides twice a day.

Rotation.

The earth revolves around the sun from east to west at a speed of about 30 km/s.

The earth takes365 days 5 hours 48 minutes and 56 seconds to complete one revolution is called a year.thus revolution is also called annual motion of the earth..

effects of revolution

☆The phenomenon of season

☆variation in the length of day and night.

☆variation in the distribution of geat over the surface of the earth..

hope its help you

Q - Explain the two movements of the Earth. SUPPORT your answer with illustration. How do the movements of the earth affect us.

A - The Two types of movements of Earth are→

1. Rotation
2. Revolution

===================================

These Movements affect of Earth affects us very greatly. In fact, Life on Earth wouldn't have been possible without these Movements. So let us first talk about Rotation.

Rotation

Rotation is the Earth's spinning on its own axis, Rotation is responsible for phenomenon called day and night. If there was no rotation, we couldn't have imagined life on Earth at all!, Rotation is also responsible for many wind systems on Earth which are responsible for different climatic changes on Earth. Even for our own country India , The Monsoons winds come towards India due to a force called Coriolis force which is caused due to Earth's Rotation.

Rotation is also responsible for the Phenomenon of tides near the coastal areas as the Earth's movement of has affected on the huge water bodies and it's seen in form of Tides.

Our Earth rotates from West to East on it's axis with a speed of about 1610 km/h and completes one revolution in 23hours 56minute and 4.09 Second, which approx. is 24hrs

=========================

Revolution

Revolution is the movement of the Earth around Sun on it's elliptical orbit. The speed of revolution is 1,07,160 km/h , and it takes 365 days 5 hours 48 minutes and 45.51 seconds or 365¼ days to complete one Revolution.Revolution is responsible for phenomenon called seasons in Earth. Why is there a difference between seasons of two different countries on Earth at a same time? The reason is Revolution! , without revolution we can't Imagine life as one Hemisphere would've been iced and other may have deserted.

How does revolution cause change in Seasons?

The revolution is not only the factor which causes change in Seasons alone , The axial tilt of 23½° also plays an important part as , Due to the axial tilt only one Hemisphere is in exposure of direct sun Rays from sun , while one other it's oblique, causing different climatic conditions on both Hemispheres at a time.

So, we can easily conclude that how important revolution and rotation are, Life wouldn't have been flourished here without any of them.
