Explain the two ways by which water helps in the formation of soil

1.when water flows it goes inside rocks and in wintet it get freez and due to freezing it expand awhen water come from mountain in very high pressure it 2.broke big rocks...and after it soil froms...in this way water help in formation of soilnd break the rocks which also help in soil formation.
