Types of barriers in innate immunity are:-
1) physiological barrier - Acid in the stomach, saliva in the mouth , tears from eyes etc
2) Physical barrier - skin in our body, mucus coating of epithelium etc
3)Cellular barrier -PMNL neutrophil
4)Cytokine barriers - virus infected cells secrete proteins called interferons which protect non infected cells from further attack
