  • The fallow land.
  • Forest land.

The land which has not been used for cultivation or any other purpose for more than a gap of two years falls under the category of fallow land.

The cultivation of a few annual crops on large estates for the purpose of earning money is called plantation farming, for example; coffee, tea, rubber, cocoa etc.
