The ionization energy for F is the maximum.

ionization energy for C is least.

F>N>O>C ( in terms of ionization energy)

Explanation:

  1. First ionization energy varies as: C<O<N<F.
  2. Ionization energy increases on going from left to right in a period due to increase in effective nuclear charge and decrease in radii.
  3. However, ionization energy of N is greater than O because p-subshell in N is exactly half filled & has greater stability.
