1. Still today, property passes from father to son. Mother and daughter do not get their shares.

2. Number of males in engineering, doctors e.t.c. is much more than that of females.

3. Even today, sex selective abortions are practiced. In such cases, girls child faces abortion.

4. Number of females in Parliament is very less in compare to those of males.

5. In higher paid jobs, number of males is much greater than number of females.
