King Hobu is comical because he is fussy about getting his feet dirty. He sets the whole kingdom to find a solution to his problem. He is ungrateful because he wanted to punish the old tanner who was trying to solve his problem. He likes the shoes and feels happy as the shoes kept his feet warm and clean.
Gobu Rai was king’s minister. He pretended to be a clever man. He does not want to look foolish in front of others. He wants to take credit for the clever idea. He is selfish and cunning.ation:
