So. coming to your question! The walls of a classroom are at rest in comparison to the students sitting in the class room. Rest and motion are relative terms, so basically the walls sont change their positions with respect to the students in the classroom and hence they are at rest. 
However the earth is constantly rotating. In comarison to earth we all are in motion even though we may be sitting or standing still!

So, it depends on the observer and the point of consideration
