A windmill consists of a dynamo attached to a rotating turbine

When the speed of the wind is at least greater than 15 kmph then the turbine moves

When turbine moves the dynamo generates electricity

It works on the principle of electromagnetic induction and conversion of mechanical energy to electrical energy using wind energy
