1 ) It means that using some actions that are - swirl and swish it made a wonderful sound which was quite pleasant to the ear. I think here these lines denote the sea . How the sea waves and dances with such a nice sound.
2) It means that the sea showed the importance of itself and gave away some of its important treasures by the beach i.e. the edge of the shore . This treasures include rich soil and beautiful sea shells of various shapes.
