Let the first number be a
Second number = a+2
Third number = a + 4
Fourth number = a + 6
According to question
Average of four numbers = 27
=> (a + a + 2 + a + 4 +a + 6) /4 = 27
=> 4a + 12 = 27× 4
=> 4a + 12 = 108
=> 4a = 96
=> a = 24
Largest number = a + 4
= 24 + 4
= 28
