2. Accessibility of food: it refers to the fact that food is within the reach of everyone or poor people.

3. Affordability: affordability means that the people have enough money to buy satisfactory, reliable and nutritious meals to meet.

- ACCESSIBILITY means food is within the reach of all .

- AFFORDABILITY implies that an individual has enough money to but sufficient, safe and nutritious food to meet one's dietary needs.

Thus, FOOD SECURITY is only ensured when :

- Enough food is available.

- All persons have the capacity to buy food at acceptable quality.

- There is no barrier to access to food.
