Simple permanent tissue -


• Parenchyma -  parenchyma cells have thin cell wall they are live cells and

are loosely packed. Its function to provide support plant and store food.

In some situation it contains chlorophyll .


• Collenchyma - the cell of this tissue living irregularly. It gives flexibility to the

plants. It also provide mechanical support to plants.


• Sclerenchyma - The cell of this tissue are dead. They are long and narrow

as the walls are thickened due to lignin. It provides strength to the plant

parts.
