1. Mining : after mining, deep scars and traces are left of over-burdening.
2. Over grazing of the cattles : due to this, the fertile land has transformed into barren lands, which are now no longer suitable for crop production.
3. Over irrigation of fields: due to this, water logging occurs leading to salinity and alkalinity of the soil.
4. Dumping of waste: this has led to soil pollution which degrades the land and makes it unfit for use.
