Tissue culture is a method of artificial propogation of plants. It can be used to save a species of a plant. It can also be used if a plant is 90% damaged. We take a part of plant and put it in nutritive medium in a closed chamber under controlled condition. After a few days a group of cells called callus will grow. After a week or 2 a small plantlet will grow after hardening the plantlet is transferred to ground. It's a quick way to grow plants instead of years it takes only days.
