Stars twinkle because of turbulence in the atmosphere of the Earth. As the atmosphere churns, the light from the star is refracted in different directions. This causes the star's image to change slightly in brightness and position, hence "twinkle."

[Hello]
Topic:- Light
Generally, Stars are twinkling due to atmospheric refraction of light.
Stars are very small in size and far way from earth so Stars are considered to be Point size sources of light.
When the lights coming from stars and enters the Earth's atmosphere, it's get refracted at different levels because to the variation in the air density at different levels of Earth's atmosphere.
In atmosphere many layers as involved ,So light of stars comes to entering the earth atmosphere then it's turned to towards us .So it's look like bigger in size and as well as appears to be twinkling.
Stars are very small in size so it's considered to a sources of light whereas another planet and Suns big in size so they are not Twinkling.
Thank you !!!!
