e endomembrane system is composed of the different membranes that are suspended in the cytoplasm within a eukaryotic cell. These membranes divide the cell into functional and structural compartments, or organelles
various organalles included in it are
glogi bodies,endoplasmic reticulum, vacuoles,and lysosomes.
Not included are
mitochondria ; plastids: ribosomes ; centrioles ; nucleus etc.

Endomembrane System includes endoplasmic reticulum (ER), Golgi complex, lysosomes and vacuoles.
These organelles together are considered as endomembrane system because their functions are coordinated. The newly synthesized proteins are transported from endoplasmic reticulum to Golgi apparatus where these are modified, packaged and dispatched to various targets inside and outside the cell.
