Explain two disadvantages of series arrangement for household circuit

i)- In this combination, if anyof the component fail to work, then the circuit will break and none of the component will work.
ii)- It is not possible to connect a bulb and a heater in series because they need different values of current to operate properly.

series arrangement is not used in domestic circuits because

◾◾ There is voltage division in series circuits. Each component of a series circuit receives a small voltage for a large supply voltage. As a result, the amount of current decreases and the device becomes hot.

Disadvantages of Series Circuits

◾if one component in a series circuit fails due to any reason, then all the components in the circuit fail because the circuit has been broken.

◾the more components there are in a series circuit, the greater the circuit's resistance

◾ Current is constant in series combination, so it is impractical to connect a bulb and an electric heater in series.
