as we move towards the center of the Earth, mass is equally distributed in all directions. thus all the gravitational forces applied cancel each other and acceleration due to gravity at the center of the earth becomes zero

IN SHORT= we know that the gravity depends upon the mass of an object . If the mass of Earth will get reduced, then that much gravity will  also decrease. when we finally reach the center means( we dig and dig and go to the center) there would be no mass left  Earth. earth would disappear. if earth will not be there then how gravity will be there? hence as we go towards the center of Earth the gravity starts to decrease
