Answer:

in picture,Fungi reproduce asexually by fragmentation, budding, or producing spores. Fragments of hyphae can grow new colonies. Mycelial fragmentation occurs when a fungal mycelium separates into pieces with each component growing into a separate mycelium. Somatic cells in yeast form buds.

Vegetative Reproduction in Fungi are of 3 following types:-

  1. Fragmentation
  2. Fission
  3. Budding

1. Fragmentation

Sometimes the fungal filament (Mycelium) breaks into small pieces due to any reason, these broken pieces form a new fungal filament.

2. Budding

Sometimes a bud is formed in a non-mycelial fungus. This bud separates from mother cell and starts functioning as young fungus.

3. Fission

Sometimes the fungal cell divides into two parts. Its nucleus also divides into two parts. Each cell receives a nucleus and starts working as a new cell.
