The water cycle, also known as the hydrological cycle or the hydrologic cycle, describes the continuous movement of water on, above and below the surface of the Earth.

The water moves from one reservoir to another, such as from river to ocean, or from the ocean to the atmosphere, by the physical processes of evaporation, condensation, precipitation, infiltration, surface runoff, and subsurface flow. In doing so, the water goes through different forms: liquid, solid (ice) and vapor.

The water is evaporated by the heat of the sun...also the water from plants and forests that is from transpiration.....which now rises very high in the sky ....and condenses to form tiny drop particles...these water particles become water droplets and come down on the earth's surface by precipitation....these droplets get collected at a certain place or in groundwater by surface runoff......and this cycle doesn't ends and continously works....
